About

I started in Education building and executing behavioral and academic intervention curriculums as a School Counselor. I then transitioned into corporate L&D facilitating live trainings and onboardings for business operations. In this role, I discovered an interest in learning systems thinking about why a workflow exists, where the friction comes from, and whether the problem is really a training problem at all.

That curiosity led me to build. I prototyped tools to solve gaps between the performance objectives and current employee performance such as an internal SOP citation and Process Guide bot. This ultimately led to me build Project TIES.

At ASU, I merge my passion for Learning Science with my interest in solving problems and building solutions for QA, Accessibility, Course Authoring, Learning Analytics, and Learning Operations. Today, my work sits at the intersection of Learning, Performance improvement, AI, and Instructional Technology.

The clearest way I can describe the work: an instructional designer who builds learning-science-based tools, systems, and experiences that use AI to solve organizational, process, and learning-experience problems. Building systems is part of the job, not the point of it. The point is better course design and a stronger ID function.

I solve problems where the answer is not more training, but a better system.
